What Is ASSOCIATIVE AWARENESS TECHNIQUE ?

ptdoctor2016-01-27T11:00:35+00:00

Associative Awareness Technique(TM) is a one-of-a-kind treatment designed to treat your Automatic Brain and Nervous System from top to bottom.  This system determines if your body should turn on the alert of pain, and prepare by tensing the muscles, or not.  If it is not working properly, then you will feel pain and limited movement when you should not.  When this system is “reset”, then your pain drops away, regardless of what you think is causing your pain.

AAT(TM) influences this part of your brain through all 3 levels, including both conscious and unconscious. It is the ultimate and most complete treatment available for controlling the automatic commands being sent by way of the electrical (vibrating) energy impulses along your nerves.  You will be surprised at how your “automatic” nervous system is driving your pain. Many people know they have chronic pain, because their pain is throughout their body, with a different area intensified each week.  This has been their life for many months or years.  These people are ideal for this treatment.  However, there are many people with a diagnosis of arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, stenosis, pinched nerves, and disc herniations that don’t even know their chronic pain is beyond biomechanical/ structural influences.  It is primarily controlled by the autonomic nervous system.  They cannot determine the source of the pain, because pain driven by the Autonomic Nervous System feels exactly like pain caused from a damaged structure in their body.

During an evaluation I examine both the biomechanical structures and the Autonomic Nervous System.  Then I treat the largest contributor first to make the best impact on the pain.  Whether you would like to feel better quickly or just find someone who can finally help you feel better, this complete approach drastically improves your chances for success. All the physical therapists at The Physical Therapy Doctor, P.C. are trained practitioners of A.A.T.(TM). Visit us at www.theptdoctor.com.
